Who Attends
At the 2008 Fair 7,451 passes through the door were recorded. Retail buyers from department stores, independent outlets, pharmacies, specialist hobby and nursery outlets, chains and franchise outlets attended.
Admission Policy
This event is open to the toy, hobby and nursery trade only. Those eligible for admission include retailers, wholesalers, buying groups, etc. Registrants must present business identification.
With up to 90% of toys and hobbies sold in Australia being imported, the Australian Toy Hobby & Nursery Fair is of vital interest to overseas suppliers who are represented either directly, through Government display or through their Australian distributors.
No one under the age of 12, including infants, will be admitted under any circumstance. Babies under the age of 1 year will be permitted if in a pram or suitable carry harness.
The Fair provides a free on-site licensed childcare facility for up to twelve children operated by Event Child Care. Buyers' and visitors' children may access the services for up to two hours at a time. Qualified and experienced childcare staff operate the service during Fair hours.
